The Right Software - and How to Get It
Getting to the Right System is a multi-step process.
In Part 1 we find answers to three questions:
- WHAT are the critical business objectives?
- WHY is an objective described in a particular way?
- HOW will success be measured?
In Part 2 we examine the critical workings of the business: what has to be executed correctly, completely and timely:
- policies that govern general operations, such as quality or customer service
- rules and constraints that must be adhered to when specific tasks or workflows are being performed
Finally, we combine the results of these two studies in to an overall vision. The 'right' vision enables the client to reach an understanding of how an effective computer system will ensure consistent day-to-day practice while providing confidence that work done by the client's employees and stakeholders will remain aligned with business goals.
